FORT WORTH, Texas — Adding another chapter to their undefeated dream season, the third-ranked Kansas State Wildcats dominated the Texas Christian Horned Frogs 23-10 on Saturday night at Amon Carter Stadium.

Kansas State (10-0, 7-0 Big 12) got the party started early with an 89-yard drive in the first quarter. Senior quarterback and Heisman Trophy frontrunner Collin Klein capped the drive with an eight-yd touchdown run to give the Cats a 7-0 lead.

TCU (6-4, 3-4 Big 12) forced the Wildcats to settle for a pair of field goals to keep the game within reach in the first half, but that’s as competitive as things would get.

The Cats held a modest 13-0 lead at the half, but Klein broke off a 34-yd TD run to make it 20-0 in the third quarter. Klein finished the game 12-21 for 145 yards passing and one interception. He also had 15 carries for 50 yards and two TD’s.

TCU’s lone TD came on a 19-yd pass from freshman QB Trevone Boykin to sophomore wide receiver Brandon Carter late in the fourth quarter.

K-State travels to Waco, Texas next Saturday night to take on the Baylor Bears.
