KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Kansas City Royals and FOX Sports Kansas City on Thursday announced that 156 regular season Royals games are scheduled to be televised in 2014, the most in Royals history.

FOX Sports Kansas City will televise an all-time high 150 regular season games and two Spring Training contests. Six regular season games are scheduled to air on FOX and FOX Sports 1 as part of Major League Baseball’s national television packages. The two games that are set to air on FOX 4 are: the May 24th game where the Royals play in Anaheim against the Los Angeles Angels, and also on June 7th where the Royals play at Kauffman Stadium and host the New York Yankees.

The Yankees series starts on Friday, June 6th and will be the final regular season series in Kansas City for Yankees’ shortstop Derek Jeter.
