KANSAS CITY, Kan. (AP) — Bradley Wright-Phillips scored his league-leading 11th goal of the season, and the New York Red Bulls ended a three-match losing streak with a 1-1 draw against Sporting Kansas City on Tuesday.

Sporting (5-4-4) finished in a draw for the second straight match and is winless in its past four.

Toni Dovale put Kansas City up 1-0 in the ninth minute with his first MLS goal, with an assist from Benny Feilhaber, but New York (3-5-6) equalized in the 50th.

Thierry Henry, making his 100th start for the Red Bulls, sent a through ball to Wright-Phillips, who drove into the penalty area and put a low shot just under Sporting keeper Eric Kronberg. That pulled him one goal ahead of Sporting’s Dom Dwyer, who had a four-match scoring streak broken.
