ST. JOSEPH, Mo. — In anticipation of Kansas City Chiefs players arriving for training camp July 22, workers moved the team’s gear up north on Wednesday.

The Chiefs will call Missouri Western State University home for the fourth consecutive preseason.

Workers unloaded the gear that will fill up players’ lockers next week — including 1,600 shoes, blocking pads, towels and footballs, according to the St. Joseph News Press.

This season, Missouri Western reached an agreement with two food vendors to operate during the 2013 camp. “The Truck Stop” and “Cappuccino Connection,” both food trucks, will start selling 30 minutes before practice each day.
