MANHATTAN, Kan. — The Kansas State Wildcats followed up their win over Ole Miss with another win, a narrow miss by South Dakota.
The Wildcats won the game 64-62, getting a team high 18 points from freshman guard Marcus Foster, and 17 points from senior forward Shane Southwell.
Kansas State trailed by as many as 11 points in the first half, and by 5 points at the intermission.
The Wildcats outscored the Jackrabbits by 7 points in the second half.
Kansas State next plays on Sunday at Bramlage Coliseum by hosting Troy.
